As patron of Pride in Surrey I am absolutely disgusted to hear that transphobic stickers are appearing in and around Woking, home of our Pride Hub and Pride in Surrey HQ.
It makes me sad to say that this type of hateful insidious activity will no doubt creep into into your home town/city eventually.
It is however very important to commend the amazing allyship & spirit of residents in Woking who are actively removing them.
Visible proactive support is vital.
VERY IMPORTANT:
When removing these stickers please be very careful as anti-trans activists are encouraging people to place sharp objects behind the stickers to inflict injury on those removing them – disgraceful eh?
Wherever possible use a card or another object to remove them.
Update in Surrey:
If you do see these stickers, please take a photo and report them to the police using their online reporting tool at https://www.surrey.police.uk/ro/report/
But please, wherever you are in the country, report them to your local police force using their online reporting platform.
If you see any hateful Anti-Trans Stickers in your home town/city
DO NOT SHARE THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA!
This only perpetuates their prejudice.
Being yourself should NEVER, EVER have to be a battle โ€“ Thank you to everyone for the continued support of our trans sisters & brothers, because there is absolutely No Home For Hate Here.

I had to read this twice as it never quite registered what I was seeing. Totally vile and disgusting. Appalled to hear this. Great advice though Hazell. No place for hate! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ’œ โค xx
