We celebrated 50 years of Pride in Brighton yesterday.
I have performed at the event so many times over the years, but never taken part in the parade before.
Co-pilot said it felt like being a contestant on “Its a Knockout” being battered by the wind and rain whilst fighting valiantly against the elements to hold a wildly flapping wet Pride flag aloft.
I believe a few folk got slapped in the face by wet flags yesterday! ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐
Stevie has the Trans Flag that she carried proudly hanging in her bedroom ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ
So much fun, love & laughter, sharing the day with family, friends and the absolutely amazing people of Brighton and Hove who turned out in their thousands to support was truly wonderful and a real roller-coaster of emotions.
Cheer Up – The Ultimate Parties started because of the rain, so there was no way it was going to spoil our day.
Thank you for inviting me to join the party โค๏ธ
Another massive thank you to Drag Bus Cherry Bomb, Carmelle Toe Kevin & Simon. We had an absolute blast!!!!
Same time next year……??????? โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
